Like the rest of the fifth wave Deluxes, Starscream does not see release in Japan by Takara Tomy. This mold was also used twice to make the EarthSpark Starscream deluxe class toys. As part of BotCon 2007's Hasbro tour, fans viewed "Robot Scale Chart v03", dated 11.22.05, which showed Arcee's height as 9' (2.7m). However, all of the designs on this chart were very early and later heavily revised (though Jazz was revised far less than the others).

Megatron speaks with a peculiar accent, somewhere between Irish and American. Perhaps this is the Tarnian accent his IDW incarnation was known for? Arcee uses plural form to refer her components in the film. This may suggest that her components are individual characters just like in the toyline rather than extensions of herself. Arcee was one of a handful of Autobots under the command of Bumblebee who desperately fought against Megatron's vast army at Tyger Pax. She was captured and interrogated by the Decepticons but survived the ordeal. Signal Flare's bio pegs him as an Autobot, where his toy's only "faction" marking is for Sector Seven. It's possible Flare is hiding out among the Sector Seven motor pool disguised as one of their uh... MASER tanks used for... doing... construction...at the car wash. Uh... yeah. Megatron suffers from a number of design flaws: Some of his joints are loose (notably the head), while the arms and legs are prone to popping off during transformation. Early prototypes of the figure, as well as some promotional renders, gave him a smug-looking smirk while the final figure has a more neutral expression.
