Aquasana Reverse Osmosis Under Sink Water Filter System is NSF certified and includes all the components needed for a DIY installation. These filters are top-grade, with the first set of filters included in one kit. It also comes with an RO tank that can be used to make clean water immediately available at any time you need it.

The NSF certifications included in this product are not very extensive in their coverage, mainly focusing on organic contaminants as well as taste and odor. There are no certifications related to more harmful contaminants like lead. Microplastics — Four water filter pitchers were able to remove the majority of microplastic particles. Among the others, several removed a modest amount and one actually added substantial amounts of plastic to the water. Some also added large amounts of carbon particles.
