What a pretty fan! And it takes up so little vertical height! The directions were pretty clear and installation went smoothly. There is no remote, but I wasn't expecting one for this model. Fan does seem a little loud, but the white noise is easy to tune out. It does produce a decent amount of airflow for the size. One workaround is to get a remote kit, but I really didn't want something floating around that I could lose. Fortunately Hunter has a kit (99771) that uses a wall switch that reads the remote signal.
