Sikaflex 1Ais a premium grade, high performance, moisture cured, one component, polyurethane based, non sag elastomeric sealant. Sikaflex 1A has excellent adhesion and bonds to most construction materials without a primer. It has durabilityand resistance to aging and weathering and can be used in green and damp concrete applications.Sikaflex 1A cures to a tough, durable and flexible consistency: +/- 35% movement.Sikaflex 1a is designed for all types of joints where maximum depth of sealant will not exceed 1/2 in. It is ideal for small joints and fillets, windows, door frames, reglets, flashing, common roofing detail applications, and many construction adhesive applications. Sikaflex 1A is also jet fuel resistant and is able to be used in submerged conditions, such as canal and reservoir joints.Has many applications as an elastic adhesive between materials with dissimilar coefficients of expansion. It has excellent resistance to weathering and aging which has been proven in harsh weather conditions and climates around the world. It has no odor and leaves no stain. It can be painted with water, oil, and rubber-based paints.
