About this deal

To install a fan duct, you have to cut a hole straight through your front bezel to the fan. Then, you measure the distance from the fan to the case front. You use a saw to cut through the plastic duct and make it the right length to provide the perfect wind tunnel, from the case front to the case interior. I just received a Dan A4 case today and I wonder which way I should go to cool the CPU. I havent bought any CPU or other components by now. I probably go for an AMD Ryzen 3600, 3700X or a similar Zen 3 chip. Originally I considered the Asetek 645LT. But a lot of unhappy reports (especially from users without custom cables or gurgling noises) let me rethink my solution. In my opinion there are 2 good solutions for air cooling the CPU in the A4:

This is a great way to vent your airstream where you need it. This tubing is completely flexible for placement around and through intricate cabinet work or through computer case obstacles. The flexible venting can be easily removed and repositioned by just snapping the tubing together and resetting the bend and length to desired position. Once in the desired position the tubing keeps it shape until re-snapped to the starting position.

For both solutions I‘m planning to install two noctua case fans as exhaust at the bottom of the case. Needless to say, fan ducts are only used by case modders with no fear of tools. Install one, and you'll see your case temperatures drop nicely. We trust in our products at Coolerguys and test everything that is sent out! We happily extend a three-year replacement warranty to all our Coolerguys branded products.

What is your opionion and experience about the two CPU cooler solutions? Which one has less noise? Which one has better TDP (also regarding to higher TDP with Zen 3 CPU‘s)?
